There is not yet a place for generated video content, and no desire to take away creativity from this industry. Where we can use AI is in the monotonous, time consuming tasks that no video editor wants to do. Our mission at Rough Cut is to create tools that replace the mundane and give more time to the individual editor to focus on creativity.

Rough Cut is run by a team of video editors, software engineers, and industry veterans. We understand the struggles of the editor.
With that said, we know that every aspect of the industry has different tasks and can always use specific help. Our goal is to create the perfect toolkit to automate the annoying parts of editing, and to do that we must understand all aspects.
